Director of Professional Education, (Project Management Institute) PMI – Keystone Chapter

Jesse Middaugh, PMP is an instructor of Information Science and Technology (IST), the IST program coordinator at Penn State Harrisburg (PSH), a faculty member of the Penn State Harrisburg School of Business Administration (SBA) and a professional associate for Management Development.

Mr. Middaugh earned a B.S. in business administration from Shippensburg University and an M.S. in information systems from Penn State Harrisburg. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI).

At Penn State, Mr. Middaugh is responsible for developing and conducting undergraduate-level business and  IST classes focusing on project management, database technologies, user interface design, management information systems, algorithmic concepts, and electronic commerce. 

In 2008, Jesse Middaugh was elected to as the Director of Professional Education to the Keystone Chapter of PMI. In this volunteer organization, Mr. Middaugh coordinates the planning and oversight of various PMI conferences and educational endeavors.

Throughout his career, Mr. Middaugh has served in a variety of training and consulting positions. He has gained experience in providing customized computer training, database design and development, and custom analysis and programming to meet his clients’ needs. He also has background in writing proposals, designing and managing project plans, and analyzing customer requirements. 

Prior to teaching at Penn State, Mr. Middaugh was employed by Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as a project manager.  His client base included state and local governmental entities, military sectors and corporate entities.  He possesses a variety of knowledge and experience working for other companies such as Price Waterhouse /Coopers and IBM.   Also in the summer, Mr. Middaugh manages his own consulting company providing IT consulting, development and training.

Bauder_KProject Manager and Senior Business Consultant with Weidenhammer Systems Corporation, Wyomissing, PA.  Kurt has over 12 years of Information Technology experience as a Project Manager, Senior Business Analyst, and IT Consultant with roles in requirements development, project management, software testing and implementation. Extensive experience with process flow modeling, BI (Business intelligence) cube and analysis development with Microsoft SQL Server and Strategy Companion as well as Project Server 2007. Adjunct professor at Indiana Wesleyan University teaching business courses to adult learners online. 

PMP Certified, MCTS in MS Project 2007 and MS Project Server 2007, MBA with a finance concentration - Indiana University, Bloomington, IN

Robin Rawdon, PMP

Robin Rawdon PMP and experienced Senior PM with over 20 years in IT and extensive background with IT projects and initiatives.  Employed with CAI, she is currently assigned to a state agency as a PM overseeing technical teams and projects such as application upgrades, system integrations, new systems implementations, and architecture design and planning initiatives.  Previously employed by an IT solutions provider to initiate, direct, manage and oversee IT projects for clients in state, federal and private sectors.  She acquired her PMP in 2003 and has been active in the PMI Keystone Chapter ever since.

Bryan HoffmanBryan is a Senior Project Manager and Consultant with over 30 years of experience in all facets of Information Technology. Bryan currently serves as the Service Delivery Manager at TreCom System Group, Inc.  Bryan specializes in client and staff management as well as the management of difficult projects and the implementation of IT standards. 

Bryan has served as President of the PMI® Keystone Chapter since January 2009.  Prior to that date, Bryan served as the Treasurer of the Chapter.

Lehigh Valley Region - Director of Programs

Dennis HouserDennis is the Program Director of the Lehigh Valley Region of the Keystone Chapter of PMI, a position he has held since 2000. He led the team that planned the PMI Keystone Professional Development Day in the Lehigh Valley region. Dennis developed a program for PMP Exam test preparation study groups that has been used throughout the PMI Keystone Chapter.

Dennis is the Director of Corporate HR Systems and Payroll at B.Braun Medical Inc. in Bethlehem, PA, is an advocate of PM at B.Braun and created and presented PM Processes, Tools and Techniques at B.Braun for several years. Dennis has over 30 years of experience in PM, Engineering, Business Process Improvement, Training and Information Technology at Merck, Sharp and Dohme in West Point, PA, Air Products and Chemicals in Allentown, PA, Carpenter Technology Corporation in Reading, PA and as an Independent Consultant. He was an Adjunct Instructor at Penn State University, Lehigh Valley. He has been Chairman of the Board for the ADP EPS User’s Group and at the Volunteers of America Children’s Center, a Consultant for Habitat for Humanity, and a Troup Founder and Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America.

He holds an AA degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College, a BS in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University, an MBA from Kutztown University and has completed PhD course work at Nova Southeastern University.

Heather Carrillo

Heather is a HRIS Systems Analyst with B. Braun Medical, Inc. of Bethlehem, PA.   At B. Braun, Heather supports and maintains HR systems, such as the LMS and recruiting database.   She also assists with all HRMS projects relating to upgrades, patches, and testing.

Heather served as acting President for the Lehigh Valley SHRM Student Chapter in its inaugural year.

She graduated in 2007 from Penn State – Lehigh Valley with a BSB.   In 2008, she completed Lehigh University’s graduate certificate in Project Management before becoming a PMP in 2009.

Mid State Region - Director of Programs

Sam is the Program Director of the Mid State Region of the Keystone Chapter of PMI.  He is the owner of Strategically Aligned Solutions Professional Project Management.  He provides hands on consulting, planning and development for multiple real estate, facility, development and relocation projects.  In the past he has worked as a Project Manager for PSS World Medical in the facility and distribution area for over 15 years.  Sam has taught classes in project management scheduling and essentials as well as MS Project 2007 for South Hills School of Business and Technology.

His goal as the program director for the Mid State Region is to provide a link and a forum for local people interested in project mangement to gain insite into the profession.  It is also the goal of the chapter to provide opportunities to network and share ideas and experiences with other managers and to promote the profession in higher education and with local companies and organizations.

Mr. Jude J. Fritz, PMP, is currently an Operations Manager/Principal Consultant with Robbins Gioia, LLC and was co-founder of the

North East Region of the Keystone Chapter.  Jude has been a member of PMI since 2004 and in 2005 received his
Project Management Professional Certification.  He has worked as a project coordinator in a $4m design and
development project and the project manager of a 3-phase $50m expansion project working for a semiconductor
manufacturing company. 
 
Jude has a Masters Degree in Organizational Management, Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, and an
Associate Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology.  He currently teaches management, communication, and
project management courses for Misericordia University and Penn State University. 
 
Mr. Fritz is currently working as a consultant for the government on a Paperless Project, which provides digital
technical publication information to technicians who repair and overhaul communications and implementation
of a Failure Reporting Analysis & Corrective Action System Project.

Chi Pham is a Project Manager for Highmark in Camp Hill, PA.  Her role encompasses Project Management execution in Mergers, Finance, and IT Infrastructure.  Chi has served in a variety of roles such as Project Manager, Business Development Manager, and IT Liaison.  She utilizes an adaptive approach to project management understanding client needs to propose effective business and IT solutions.  Chi has more than 12 years working for both private and public sectors. 

Chi graduated from Penn State Harrisburg with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems and a minor in Finance.  She has been a resident of PA for the past 25 years.  Chi serves as Director of Programs for the PMI Keystone Chapter Susquehanna Region.
