The PMI Keystone Chapter runs best with volunteers who take ownership. You can improve your marketability by volunteering with PMI. Become a board member of the Keystone Chapter and start setting the stage of new beginnings for you and the Chapter. 

 

For the upcoming 2022 election, the chapter will vote for the following 2-year positions:

·      Director of Membership

·      Marketing Director

·      Programs Director

Position Descriptions:

The PRESIDENT is an elected volunteer responsible for overall oversight of the chapter and the board. The PRESIDENT shall direct the activities of the other board members in accordance with the chapter bylaws. The PRESIDENT shall be the chief executive officer for the PMI KEYSTONE CHAPTER and of the Board, and shall perform such duties as are customary for presiding officers, including making all required appointments with the approval of the Board. The PRESIDENT shall also serve as a member ex-officio with the right to participate and vote on all committees except the Nominating Committee. The PRESIDENT shall be elected in even years. To be eligible to be nominated for PRESIDENT, the member must have previously served on the Keystone Chapter Board of Directors. For more information click here.

The VICE PRESIDENT is an elected volunteer who will assist the president with the duties of managing the chapter and assume the role of the chapter president if the president is unable to perform duties for any reason. The VICE PRESIDENT shall work with the PRESIDENT to perform all acts required or authorized by the bylaws and shall have such other powers and duties as assigned by the Board. The MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR is an elected volunteer responsible for addressing the needs of chapter membership, including service delivery, recruiting and retaining members in accordance with chapter policies and bylaws. The MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR shall keep the official list of members, clearly indicating those entitled discounts, and shall actively work to gain new membership for the Chapter. The MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR shall be responsible for welcoming new members into the Chapter and tracking membership trends, and totals. The MARKETING DIRECTOR is an elected volunteer responsible for marketing and public relations. The MARKETING DIRECTOR shall be responsible for developing marketing, corporate relations and communication programs in accordance with chapter bylaws and policies. The MARKETING DIRECTOR will work with the MARKETING DIRECTOR to maintain and track PMI Keystone Chapter sponsorships. The PROGRAMS DIRECTOR is an elected volunteer responsible for coordinating, managing and directing the program through the various branches and committees of the chapter. This position would also help the Director of Professional Development with coordinating speakers for special engagements.
