Dr. James Norrie:


Dr. James Norrie currently serves as Professor of Strategy and Dean of Business at the Graham School of Business at York College Pennsylvania.  In addition to his academic role, he conducts and publishes industry-related research, speaks globally at conferences and consults to F-500 companies globally with a focus on aligning business and IT strategy, including cybersecurity and economic crime detection and prevention. He holds (or held) clearances or national security level access status in four jurisdictions. He is a frequent media commentator on these important topics, particularly drawing directly on his training in the social sciences, law and business to provide a non-technical viewpoint on complex topics that often over-emphasize the technicalities instead of the complex realities of national security and individual liberty.

Dr. Norrie received his DPM from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia and his LL.M. from the University of Strathclyde (UK) holding terminal degrees in both management and law.  His previous academic accomplishments include an M.A.Sc in computer engineering; an M.Ed in Adult Education and Administration; and Bachelor of Commerce degree earned with honors in Accounting & Finance, with a minor in Computer Science.  He is the author or co-author of 5 books and hundreds of conference presentations and companion articles at various industry conferences.  A complete list of his publication record is available on request. 

Alan Mallory:


Alan Mallory is an international speaker, author and professional development coach who is passionate about leadership and human performance. A graduate from Queen's University, he has worked internationally with large organizations as a professional engineer and project manager in the field of custom machine design. Living and working abroad has given Alan the opportunity to deepen his understanding of individual and team challenges, better appreciate cultural diversity and successfully adapt to different organizational structures. Through his work and life experiences, he has discovered that his true passion is helping people reach new heights by cultivating effective ways of thinking and taking action.

Building experience through a lifestyle of adventure and challenge, in the spring of 2008 Alan embarked on the project of a lifetime: to attempt to reach the summit of Mount Everest. Along with three members of his immediate family, Alan climbed through some of the most challenging yet exciting conditions imaginable and set a world record when all four of them set foot on the summit. The project involved two years of planning and two months of climbing through immense challenges but they were able to overcome these obstacles through strategic planning, healthy team dynamics, self-awareness and perseverance.

Dr. Barb Geisler:

0-2Dr. Barb Geisler serves as an Assistant Professor in the Master of Science in Project Management program at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. She has over fifteen years of experience in higher education and project management. She earned a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Doctorate in Higher Education from Widener University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®). She previously worked as a project manager in the government sector overseeing contracts with the US Navy, Wounded Warrior Care and Transition Policy, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and other agencies of the Department of Defense. Dr. Geisler also has a background in instructional design and has presented at several national conferences on best practices in e-learning.  Her teaching focus includes project management leadership, communication and research methodology.


Phil Weinzimer:

Weinzimer-PhilPHIL WEINZIMER is president of Strategere Consulting and works with clients to develop business and IT strategies that achieve business outcomes. Mr. Weinzimer was previously the Managing Principal-Professional Services for IT Business Management at BMC Software. He also held Managing Principal positions in the Professional Services organizations for ITM Software, CAI, Sapient, and Unisys.

Management experience includes executive positions in the defense and manufacturing industries in the areas of Vendor Management, Materials Management, Operations, and Finance. Mr. Weinzimer's consulting experience includes building and leading consulting practices, selling Professional Services, managing multiple engagements in the US and Europe
Industry experience is in Health Care, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, and Financial Services industries. Mr. Weinzimer uses creative and innovative coaching techniques-through workshops-to enhance new organizational skills, knowledge, and teamwork in IT Strategy, Process Redesign, and Organizational Change.
Mr. Weinzimer’s new book, The Strategic CIO: Changing the Dynamics of the Business Enterprise, published by Taylor & Francis, focuses on how CIOs strategically transform IT organizations by leveraging information and technology to create new customer value, increase corporate revenue, and enrich shareholder value. His previous book, Getting it Right: Cre¬ating Customer Value for Market Leadership, published by John Wiley, focuses on transform¬ing an organization using a 3P strategy: PREPARE personnel to work together as a team, PERCEIVE customer needs, and PROVIDE new products and services that create sustainable and profitable value.
Mr. Weinzimer speaks regularly on  IT strategy and writes an ongoing column for AITS.org-The Strategic CIO, and for CIO.com on the subject of Transforming IT for Business Success. Mr. Weinzimer has written articles for CIO magazine on the subject of strategic CIOs, and recently co-authored a case study for Harvard Business School (HBS). 
He is also a journalist for Sarder TV, a division of Netcomlearning, interviewing CIOs, IT and business executives, and academic thought leaders on the subject of Leveraging Information and Technology for Competitive Advantage. Mr. Weinzimer also hosts a video series on AITS.org-The Strategic CIO, interviewing business executives on the strategic use of IT to create customer value, increase margins, and enhance shareholder wealth. 
John Bowen:
0John Bowen is Senior Director of Global Partnerships for Computer Aid, Inc., responsible for expanding CAI's international business presence. In this role, he has led CAI’s international growth in Asia, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.  John has more than 35 years of IT management experience including executive leadership, technology management, IT integration, IT due diligence, strategic planning and large-scale system implementation. 

John is also president of Management Envision LLC, a research and consulting company focused on innovative presentation of complex issues in process, portfolio, project and program management.  He provides management consulting services to IT organizations in global expansion and manages projects in the US, Latin America and Europe. 

Before joining CAI, John served for ten years as CIO of PPL Global, the international division of PPL Corporation.  In that role, he was responsible for IT management and operations in Latin America and lived for several years in Argentina and Chile.   He has managed multi-national projects involving teams in more than 25 countries.  He authored an acclaimed project management methodology and established project management offices (PMOs) in multiple companies in the US and Latin America. 

John is a magna cum laude graduate of DePauw University with degrees in mathematics, computer science and symbolic logic.  He has taught international business, information engineering and project management for MBA programs at eight universities and is currently visiting instructor of international business and project management at Lehigh University’s Iacocca Institute and adjunct professor of project management in the Lehigh University College of Business and Economics Executive Education Program.  John has taught international business and project leadership to more than 700 professionals from more than 100 countries at the Iacocca Institute´s Global Village program. 

John's industry knowledge spans power generation, energy distribution, telecommunications, higher education, software development and health care.  


Philip Sedhom:


Philip is community leader, Professional Scrum Master, agile coach and information Technology (IT) professional with more than seventeen years of experiences. Extensive experience in Mainframe Programming, IT Business Analysis and both Agile and Traditional Project management.

Currently Philip serves on PMI keystone chapter board of directors as professional development director. Philip has organized and led many successful chapter events.
