Topic: Standard for OPM
Summary: This latest PMI foundational standard addresses the gap between PMI’s project, program and portfolio standards, practice guides and establishing an effective governance framework that supports a project-based organization. This standard is the enabling bridge between the various PMI domain standards and developing an effective methodology, governance framework and an implementation strategy. It also provides guidance for conducting the organizational transformation using a program management approach that focuses on OPM related benefits and value delivery, including the role of the PMO in organizational excellence. The standard can be downloaded by PMI members at: https://www.pmi.org/pmbok-guide-standards/foundational/organizational-project-management.
