Overview
During the two years that Stuart has spent creating project management videos on YouTube, he had a surprising revelation. The process of planning, prioritising, creating and publishing content has a lot of similarities to project management. So he started to teach creators how to apply project management skills to improve their videos; and now is presenting how project managers can enhance their project approach and career development with skills and traits found amongst the most successful YouTubers.

Stuart Taylor is the creator of the Influential PMO YouTube channel, where he shares weekly tutorials, tips and opinions on all matters relating to project management, PMO and assurance. He has worked on projects in banking, insurance, fintech, retail, local government and health; and now - whilst juggling a full time PMO role and enjoying a healthy family life - spends much of his time creating content that advises fellow professionals and newcomers on how to avoid the self sabotaging behaviors that prevent projects from being successful.
During the journey to create his channel, Stuart identified some interesting similarities to how social media content is created and how projects are managed. As a result, Stuart now shares project management tutorials with content creators via Skillshare; and provides insights from content creation with project managers.
