PDU Information

key.jpgAll PMI credential holders must acquire a specific number of PDUs during the certification cycle in order to retain their credential.  The PMI Keystone Chapter offers multiple training opportunities including meetings within each region and Professional Development Days.  
Beginning in late 2009, the PDU reporting process was changed.  One- and two-hour meetings can now be registered without the need for a PDU number. 

Please follow the steps below to log this PDU information:

Access the reporting site by logging on to the PMI Keystone Chapter site using your PMI credentials and clicking CCRS in the Member Login box, then:

For those who need to maintain PMI Credentials:

  1. Click the CCRS link – https://ccrs.pmi.org/search/
  2. Sign in to the website
  3. Click "Report PDUs"
  4. Select PDU Category B: Continuing Education
  5. Click Next
  6. Type in the event information:
    a. Program Title = Enter the appropriate name of your function
    b. Date Started / Date Completed = Enter the appropriate start/end dates for your function
    c. Hours Completed / PDUs Claimed = Enter the number of appropriate PDU's for your function
    d. Provider Name = PMI Keystone Chapter
  7. Check the box that you agree the claim is accurate
  8. Click Submit
  9. Wait for email confirmation of approval

 For those who do not yet have a PMI credential, the regional meetings also count toward the contact hours of education needed to apply for certification. If you decide to seek certification, here is the information that you need for the Education section of the application:

  1. Click the certification application link – https://certification.pmi.org/
  2. Register, log in, and find the Education section of the application
  3. Type in the event information:
    a. Course Title = Enter the appropriate name of your function
    b. Institution Name = PMI Keystone Chapter
    c. Education Category = B: "Courses or programs offered by PMI chapters or communities of practice"
    d. Start Date / Completion Date = Enter the appropriate start/end dates for your function
    e. Hours / Qualifying Hours = Enter the number of appropriate PDU's for your function
  4. After completing total number of required education hours (35 for a PMP certification) and the rest of the application, you are eligible to take the exam
