Description: The presentation Security Gaps within Project Management Methodology is a breakdown of Natilie McCallick’s Senior Thesis at York College of Pennsylvania. The presentation will overview the potential cyber security vulnerabilities, threats, and costs associated with poor risk management and risk-seeking behavior found in Agile and Waterfall Software Development practices. In addition to bringing awareness to the inevitable costs of such practices, the student will briefly cover the mitigation strategies used to address these issues. The goal of the research is to bring awareness to the potential trade-offs found in Agile and Waterfall methodologies when applied to software development and encourage further research to understand better avenues of mitigation as the threat landscape continues to evolve.
