Description: Devon Tolbert, a fresh college graduate full of energy and enthusiasm, was eager to begin using Artificial Intelligence to bring his dream game to life through the YCP Creative Fellowship. Let’s just say, life had other plans. He started the project in August with a 40-page thesis, a bold vision, and minimal funding opportunities. Attendees will hear how his exciting goals to build video games has only led to being further immersed in project management, a concept he realized he had drastically misunderstood. In this presentation, Devon will walk you through the highs and lows of transforming a vague and ambitious idea into a feasible plan, the valuable lessons he's learned, and offer a glimpse into a game developer's hectic life.
