Topic: Value Stream Made Simple (Concept of Lean Management Philosophy)

Description: Have you ever gone to the Doctor's Office and waited an exorbitant amount of time in the waiting room or been on a phone call looking for customer support only to be transferred to five different people and eventually you are cutoff? Value Stream is a concept within Lean Management Philosophy that could change the above issues. A Value Stream is a sequence of steps where information and resources flow to provide value to the end service, consumer or product. The presentation will focus on understanding the mechanics of the Value Stream but will also illustrate how to perform a value stream analysis by a group involved demonstration.
Presenter: Harrison F. Hanzlik II PhD
Dr. Hanzlik is a Principal Maintainability Engineer at BAE Systems and has over 40 years of leadership within Space, Aviation and Technology (Boeing, GE, L3 and Textron). His dissertation focused on Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), a form of Asset Management. He received his PhD from Northcentral University in Engineering Technology and Management. In addition, he has an MBA and BS from Albertus Magnus College and Southern Illinois University. Dr. Hanzlik is a charismatic leader/mentor/engineer specializing in business intelligence/analytics, logistics/supply chain management, reliability availabiity maintainability, and education technologies with a track record for delivering excellence with providing value stream for customers/clients/products. His ethics, dedication, passion, and innovation has allowed him to realize his dreams.
