Carlisle Branch June 2019 Meeting
The PMI Keystone Chapter wants to connect with PMI members, Project Managers and the project management professional community to drive the field of project management forward in the Carlisle area.
We hope you will join us at our regular monthly meetings to learn how you can expand your network and collaborate with us to create and share consumable content, tools and resources.
The feature presentation will be as follows:
Topic : Change, Resistance, and Resisters
On any given day a project manager is likely to either experience or introduce “change” in his or her work environment. A particular change may be profound or slight; functional or technical; urgent or important. Its impacts may affect our teams’ personal or professional worlds, or both. Regardless of the nature of the change, people’s reactions to it will tend to follow specific patterns. In this session we will examine some of the characteristics of resistance to change, some of the ways that resistance may manifest itself and methods that may allow us to help others, and ourselves, manage change.
