TOPIC: AI adoption in Project Management - a roundtable discussion.
AI adoption has become mainstream at the organizational level, with most companies using AI in some capacity and a majority of knowledge workers reporting regular generative AI use (Breeze, 2026). Yet PM-specific integration lags behind, and estimates vary widely — from roughly a third of organizations reporting AI built into PM workflows (Breeze, 2026), to under half agreeing AI is currently affecting their practice (Xergy, 2026), to just over a fifth of PMs saying AI tools are actually deployed and in use today (The Business Dive, 2026). That spread of estimates is itself telling: this is a field still finding its footing.
