Organizational Project Management in Practice
Topic : Organizational Project Management in Practice
The recently released PMI Standard for Organizational Project Management (OPM) addresses the gap between PMI’s project, program and portfolio standards, practice guides and establishing an effective governance framework that supports a project-based organization. This presentation will provide an overview of the benefits and case studies of OPM implementation in both the government and private sectors with the purpose of engaging the audience in their experiences of improving project management in their organizations. We will also discuss the role of the PMO in organizational excellence.
